A beautiful nose that has a bloody note with a bricky iodine note. The palate is ripe and full, with wonderful acidity and sweet tannins that kiss the palate. There is tight tannin structure and a really lovely balance on the palate. The fruit is rounded, with a red fruit note that stands out. Firm, structured and concentrated, with a powerful finish. Needs time, obviously, to show itself, but has balance, weight and spice. Excellently put together and a wine that will age wonderfully. A great balance of new and old.
