The juicy fruit notes leap out of the glass with a pyrazine hint and clear graphite notes. The fruit on the palate is fine and showing more red notes, and what really makes this stand out is the salinity and graphite that give a sensation of freshness. Despite this being from a very hot vintage, it shows such finesse. The tannins are well managed and so fine, and the dark earth note has a slight wet tobacco character as well, giving an earthy hint. Superb Cabernet, and wonderful value for money.
