Some attractive pepper and pyrazine aromas, with leather and graphite as well. The tannins are well managed here — sleek and soft, yet still providing structure to the juicy red fruit core. A nice blend of tension and polished fruit. An attractive herbal note lies beneath. Approachable and appealing, with a cooling sensation on the finish. Not overworked, and it shows a gentle hand.
