The nose is showing some spice and baked fruit, smoked meat and red fruits. The palate is structured and taut with firm tannins that dominate a little at the moment, the fruit is present, with dampmearth and herbal notes underneath as well. Quite introverted at the moment, with spice, fig and moderate acidity throughout.
