A bright nose with a blue fruit core and some slight caramel and chewy notes on the nose. The palate has again real brightness and freshness and grip, there is a chewy nature to the tannins and a dense rich mid palate, ripe and earthy and with a slight liqourice note as well. A different expression of Carignan to Maule, it has the acidity and freshnesss of Carignanb and with the richness and weight of Coilchagua.
