There is a leather note ont he nose with liquorice, red fruits, damson and a subtle leafy character as well. The tannins are present and structured with a chewiness to them, the oak is there but adding structure more than flavour and overt oak character. A powerful palate with density and with a liqourice noe that comes through as well with the earthy notes and balsamic character.
