The nose shows some pyrazine, pepper and herbalnnotes with slight menthol note and cocoa. The spooked notes come through on the palate, with herbal gripnandc firm but fine tannins, dark fruit and with structure. A saline note and with real grip, needs a little food to tame the tannins. A really well balanced wine, screaming for some roasted duck.
