A bright nose with dark fruits, rosemary and tobacco. A dark fruit-led palate with a meaty note and menthol. The palate has grip and density, and a subtle graphite note with energy — quite tight at the moment, with redcurrant and rosemary notes that open up on the finish. Balanced and fresh, but also with a brooding dark core of plum-infused fruit. Needs several years to open up and for the tannins to integrate into the attractive plummy fruit.
