The nose opens with a vivid hit of minerality, with gunpowder notes giving way to firm red fruit and wild herbal touches. Compact and elegant. The palate is smooth, savoury and rounded, with soft tannins well-tamed by oak that’s present but refined. A Carignan made for the dinner table, with balanced acidity, where sour cherry adds juiciness and supports a richness that fills the mouth.
