Cherry cola and liquorice nose with a crushed blue fruit note. A taut palate which is really tight at the moment, balsamic and mint, garrigue, and the acidity is bright and really well integrated. The tannins here are detailed, with precision and length, spice and herbs. Very good example of Carignan but more refined than many — polished and bright.
