A ripe nose with sweet fruit, saddle leather, blackcurrant and cherry. A richness and tension on the palate. A really fresh and zippy palate with sweet tannins, kirsch and blueberry, and a taut, nervy structure with a cloak of sweetness and leather always present in the background. Balanced and taut, tight and complex, layered and long. Wonderful.
