The nose has a brightness here, with cassis, and a graphite and earthy note. The palate is dense, with ripe dark fruit and some herbal notes. The tannins are balanced and present, with freshness as well. As well as showing finesse there is also structure, and a very subtle note of coffee and smoke on the finish.
