The nose is fresh, with plenty going on — cassis and leather, balsamic and mint. Ripe, weighty, and with a cloak of dark fruits and jam, with a long, structured and chewy mid-palate. Lovely notes of green pepper, thyme and red fruit. Suave, rich and layered. Delicious, balanced and rounded.
