The nose is bright, with pepper, herbal and black tea notes, as well as crushed black fruits. The palate is supple and dense, sleek and layered. The acidity is bright and balsamic, with plum notes. The oak gives structure and is well balanced. It still needs some time to come together and fully integrate the oak, but it hasn't been released yet. Balanced, yet still a ripe and powerful Carménère, but refined at the same time. An impressive addition to the portfolio.
