A subtle nose with lovely red fruits and raspberry notes as well. A lovely, ripe red-fruit-led palate with raspberry, quince, and a nicely judged autolysis and grilled nuts. I love the dosage here - it is well balanced, with the interesting addition of gin, which you can't really taste, but it brings a nice herbal note as well. Fine bubbles and a long, fresh finish - great on its own as well as with food.
