The nose has spice, red fruits, and a savoury note as well. The palate shows a sandalwood note and lovely savoury character with herbs, and a slight bacon fat character as well. Dried herbs and firm tannins join red fruits, rosehip, and a hint of volcanic smoke. I really enjoy Pinots from this part of Chile, and this is no exception. Slightly drying note on the finish, with iodine and ferruginous hints.
