The nose has rose and red fruits, rosehip and with a note of meat and spice. Quite introverted at the moment with tight tannins and a taut mid palate, there is freshness and vibrancy but with the tight tannins just holding out back at the moment as it is so tightly coiled. With a little air this is really opening up in the glass, showing waxy notes and a real sense of freshness. I can't wait to see this iwnbe on 2 years or so when it opens up.
