An expressive nose with earthy notes, cassis and blue fruit. The palate has a mint note, a ripe fruit, some slight caramel notes on the mid palate and a balanced of earth, fruit and it is quite tight at the moment. An almost coffee note, the oak is there but well judged and adds structure. needs a year or two to integrate and knit together. Fresh with a. streak of basaltic on the finish.
