A powerful nose with dark fruits and sun-dried tomatoes. The palate is intense, drenched in dark fruit and balsamic notes, with a mint note and dried blood sausage. Attractive and rich, with a ripe mid-palate, and always tamed by the acidity from the Carignan. Still fresh for a 2018, and perhaps could still do with a year or two, as it’s still quite tightly wound!
