The nose is showing some spice and baked fruit, smoked meat and red fruits. The palate is structured and taut, with firm tannins that dominate a little at the moment. The fruit is present, with damp earth and herbal notes underneath as well. Quite introverted at the moment, with spice, fig and moderate acidity throughout.
