The nose is really bright and appealing, with leather and a note of cinnamon and herbal notes as well. Blue fruit and red fruit with some attractive richness as well. A real weight on the palate with textured tannins and proper power and structure, chalk and weight. The herbal notes come through on the finish and give some grip and an almost thyme character. The oak is present but is well integrated.
