Attractive nose with bags of fruit, tobacco, red fruits, mint and a sense of sweetness as well. The palate is super sleek and rounded, with fresh acidity and a zippy mid-palate. Long and fresh, but also ripe and layered. What makes this is the acidity and freshness; whether that comes from the Pisco barrels, I am not sure! I like the innovations and thinking here, and the wine carries itself really well.
