The nose is ripe, with black fruit and sweet cassis notes. The palate is bright, with good fresh acidity and a powerful, dense mid-palate and concentration. The oak is integrated and adds vanillin and spice, with some tobacco notes as well as cocoa nib and blackberry. Both juicy and structured, this wine has a long life ahead of it. Balanced, with a long finish.
