A really dense and powerful nose, there is a juiciness and a ripeness on the nose with a blend of dark and red fruits. The Carménère shows its subtle herbal and pyrazine notes. The palate is ripe and structured, with a sleek and polished mid-palate with coffee, dark fruits and a plushness as well, with a ripeness and a lovely fresh streak as well. Chewy and still really balanced, needs some time to open, but has real presence and direction as well. Really deep, structured and layered, accessible but still will open up in the next two or three years.
