The nose is bright and fresh, with sweet ripe fruit and blueberry. A slight smoke and ripeness of fruit, with a lovely juicy fruit core — which is the most important thing here — freshness, ripeness and a sweetness of fruit. Juicy and structured, with a lovely acidity throughout and really well-managed oak that never dominates the palate. Fresh, layered and balanced.
