On the nose, there are spicy notes of pepper and red bell pepper, with a subtle hint of black fruit in the background. On the palate, the wine is robust and full of character with ripe blackberries and blueberries intertwining with nuances of tobacco, coffee, and cedar. The texture is firm and a hint of sweetness is present. The grippy tannins last through the finish.
