The nose is showing dense dark fruit, with an earthy note, cassis and crushed dark fruits. The palate is rounded and ripe, with leather notes. Really well-judged oak adds cedar, spice, and fine, elegant tannins. Super rounded, with bright acidity throughout. A little introverted at the moment, as you might expect. A coffee note appears on the layered and dense finish. I wouldn't open this for at least five years, but it shows great promise.
