A wonderful nose, full of cassis and spice. The palate is bright, with plenty of cassis as well. The tannins are super broad and dense, with great concentration throughout. A layered and ripe finish follows, with cedar, oak, spice, graphite, tobacco and a richness that grows. A fascinating wine that will age really beautifully. It is unashamedly powerful as well.
