The nose is powerful and dense, with leather and balsamic notes. Intense and polished on the palate, with sweet fruit and ripe dark cassis, pepper, earthy and mineral elements, pencil shavings and a smoked meat note. The oak is present on the mid-palate and builds towards the finish. There is a juiciness from the succulent fruit and an earthy note that creeps in as well. Ripe and polished, with a sleek style.
