A really bright nose with a hint of smoke and spiced meat. As it opens up, a black pepper note comes through. The palate is juicy and structured at the same time — savoury and spiced, with a smoked meat note as well as five-spice. Tight and structured, with real elegance — that is what really defines this wine: elegance and refinement. It has firm tannins, graphite-led and earthy, with a pepper note coming through on the long and polished finish.
