Super expressive nose here with smoked meat and sandalwood, but with candied red fruits and violets as well. The palate is tight and has bags of tension, ripe fruit and structure, driven by a streak of blue fruit and a slight coffee and earthy note. Needs plenty of time to open up in bottle, but has lovely grip, coolness and a herbal garrigue note underneath. Lovely, poised and driven.
