A dense and wild nose, ripe with a slight note of blood, both red and dark fruits – dried earth. A powerful attack with a chewy palate, rounded tannins and bacon fat spice beneath. A rich and powerful Syrah with liquorice and a subtle smoke; it gets meaty as it opens up – game and dried meats. The acidity is just enough to lift this wine and refresh it. Brooding and delicious.
