Expressive and powerful nose, crushed red fruits, and crushed violets. Dense and graphite-rich tannins, baked earth, tobacco and cedar spice – really expresses the place, and has richness on the mid-palate, cassis. Long and structured, not heavy but balanced and complete. Needs some food and is well judged, and always with a good level of acidity through the middle.
