A perfumed nose, with a smoked meat element as well. A bright palate with real intensity and concentration. It is quite linear, again showing notes of graphite and subtle salinity that mark the La Sirca wines. The tannins are fine and give good grip throughout—attractive and layered, with a fresh finish. Not hugely herbal for a Carménère, more about gentle, sleek fruit.
