History
Founded in 2009 in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, La Sirca embodies a harmonious blend of time-honoured tradition and contemporary innovation. Its name, drawn from the Quechua word for “veins”, reflects a guiding philosophy: that wine, like life itself, is at its finest when it flows freely and authentically.

The winery’s ethos is simple yet uncompromising — meticulous care in the vineyard, grapes hand-harvested from exceptional sites, and a steadfast commitment to crafting wines of excellence. Each bottle of La Sirca is a testament to this dedication, capturing the richness and character of the Colchagua Valley while honouring the artistry of traditional winemaking.

Vineyards
La Sirca’s vineyards are located in the Santa Ana sector of Peralillo, within the renowned Colchagua Valley in the O’Higgins Region. Situated in the heart of Chile’s wine country and just 40 kilometres in a straight line from the Pacific Ocean, they are a privileged enclave for vine cultivation. The geographical and climatic conditions combine harmoniously to create an exceptional environment, ideal for producing wines of world-class quality.

The Mediterranean climate of the Colchagua Costa, with warm summers and mild winters, ensures optimal ripening of the grapes. Proximity to the ocean and the influence of local rivers help moderate temperatures, bringing freshness and complexity, which translate into a distinctive and elegant character in every wine.

The soils —a rich mix of clay, sand, and highly mineral granite— contribute to the development of unique aromatic profiles, enhancing the expression and quality of the varieties. The topography of the land guarantees optimal sun exposure, a key element for balanced ripening.

Varieties grown include Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, all managed under regenerative farming principles, without the use of pesticides or herbicides. A commitment to sustainability guides every task in the vineyard, respecting the land and its natural balance. Yields are carefully controlled to ensure excellence in every harvest, limiting production to no more than 7,000 kilos of grapes per hectare. Each cluster is the result of a deep respect for nature and an unwavering passion for creating authentic wines that speak of their place of origin.
