Bright nose with cassis and lavender, herbal notes and also red fruits coming through. The palate is juicy and soft, with marked fine tannins and a spiced note on the finish. Rich and layered, with a long, chalky finish. There is a leather note and spiced fruit, with dark fruit, sweet red fruits and a dense, herbal, thyme-infused finish. Juicy fruit and the herbal notes are all in check. Impressive.
