The nose is expressive and has a lot of fruit, with a slight volatility on the nose, violets and rose. A really balanced palate that has density and power, slight balsamic on the palate with just the faintest hint of smoke and earth underneath the fruit. Balanced within its hefty frame, dense and chewy on the mid-palate, with firm tannins, leather and raspberry jam on the finish.
