Primitivo

A marked ripe nose, currants, raisins and dates with vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, the rich and rounded fruit character reveals deep blue and forest fruits, bramble fruits and an attractive liquorice note. There is a cooling eucalyptus note that comes through especially on the finish, but it doesn't dominate at all. Well-judged oak as well. Impressive and full-throttle Primitivo.
