So much going on here—herbal, spiced, garrigue, leather, cola, coffee—fascinating. The palate is so supremely balanced, with a searing acidity and such brightness. Like an HD movie: fine, clear and so precise. It is a wonderful wine that demands time—or maybe doesn't demand it, but certainly requires time—to unveil itself and express its true self. It is a wine that feels like an old soul in a young person's body, and with time in bottle will come together. Superb.
