The nose is bright, brimming with freshness and redcurrant, rosehip and waxy notes. The palate is fresh, sinewy and with real verve. The tannins are firm and have such tension and energy. Taut and compact, with a beautiful structure and length. Extremely tight on the palate, with red fruits, rose and a textured finish — needs time to really show the fruit that is trapped underneath the taut core of smoke, blood and dried herbs.
