The nose is bright and fresh, with a lovely blue fruit note. Cassis and intense fruit really jump out at you on the attack, with a really nice freshness of fruit, as well as a herbal streak beneath. There is a real sense of vibrancy here, with sweet violet, cassis and garrigue. The finish is layered, with a balsamic note. Attractive, dense, tense, and with a long, structured finish. A really lovely expression of Cab.
