A rich and ripe nose: pure blue fruit and a sweet cigar box spice. The palate is sleek, balanced, powerful and rounded, with real definition as well as a streak of acidity through the middle. This is introverted at the moment and has a core of rich, intense fruit — cassis, blueberry — and firm structure as well. This needs at least 5 years before opening, yet shows much promise and potential for the future. Powerful and layered.
