This is surprisingly dark in colour. The oak is present on the nose, with cedar spice, smoke and fig notes as well. Structured and powerful, with tannins that still need to be tamed, as they are oak-derived and slightly dominating, yet there is great acidity that drives the pure core of fruit. Attractive but young.
