The nose is brimming with life — liquorice, blue fruits, pepper, herbs and plum notes. A rich palate with a lovely leather note, wonderfully fine tannins that are so well judged and give pinpoint accuracy throughout. Detailed and precise, with a clay-like note and dark fruits as well. Despite its concentration and richness, it has sweet spice, balsamic freshness, acidity and a long finish. A textured, chalky note, and it has great life ahead of it.
