Cabo de Hornos

The nose is packed full of earthy notes, clay-like sweet fruit, crushed cassis, crushed red fruits and bay leaf. The palate starts with a sweet fruit character, and then come the tobacco, earth and herbal notes. The tannins are rounded and dense, and saturate the mouth, but are not drying at all; rather, they are supple and seductive. So appealing and well judged—excellent for such a warm vintage as well.
