A ripe and dense nose with sweet fruit, leather and a herbal note as well. There is attractive fruit on the palate, with juiciness and a herbal note as well. You can sense some of the Sangiovese here: slightly tomato leaf, bloody and red fruit notes. The tannins are present and have good concentration as well, a subtle salty note and good acidity to lift it. The alcohol is present but just balances with the rich and generous fruit core and moderate acidity.
