The nose here is showing leather notes, cola, spiced notes and red fruits. The palate is showing lovely acidity and brightness—there is such precision; the fruit is still really vivid, with a really fresh appealing acidity. A taut and tight mid-palate with tannins that are vertical and very fine, dried herbs, bay, sweet tobacco and a long, layered finish.
