Dense, rich and powerful nose — sleek and quite introverted aromatically, with cedar oak notes and pencil shavings. A sweet cassis note on the palate, with a really dense and structured mid-palate — chewy and rounded, ripe and savoury, with vanillin, cedar, cassis and tobacco. The tannins are gripping and layered, with sweet spice. Rich and dense, with a layered fruitcake finish. Introverted and powerful.
