On the nose, it is clean and pure, and packed full of ripe cherry aromas, with wild floral touches. On the palate, the attack is supremely fresh, with a pronounced fruity character that has a smoky note in the background. The mouthfeel is luscious, with fresh and ripe cherries, complemented by well-judged, mouthwatering tannins. Once again, Itata shows how it can make wines with such balance between tannin and fruit, with a linear, taut acidity.
