A spiced herbal nose, red pepper, and graphite. The palate is dense and ripe with chewy, chalky tannins. Attractive, fresh acidity balances the tannins and fruit core well. There is lovely tension here - this is a fun and enjoyable glass of wine that gives plenty of pleasure.
